In order to make money from your blog or website, you will need to join some affiliate programs. They are usually free to join. You just place some HTML code with your ID number somewhere on your webpages and let your visitors click on them. You will either get paid for each click, or you will get a percentage of any sales that are made by your visitors. Below are some of the best free affiliate programs. You can click on the links at the bottom of the page to visit each program. Be sure to also include a donation button on your website for added revenue.

1.) Google Adsense will be your top money maker. I made money from Adsense when I was only getting one visitor per day. Adsense has a long list of rules that you have to be careful not to break. Before you join any other affiliate programs, you have to make sure that it can be used on the same page as Adsense ads. You have to read their Terms of Service carefully or risk getting banned from the program. Once you are banned, you can’t get back in again. If you have trouble getting the ads to display on your site, there is a widget at Widget Box that may solve the problem. I am trying out an alternative to Adsense that doesn't have so many restrictions. It is called ClickMyAd and the advertisers pay only for clicks, not impressions. This means that you can advertise it on Traffic Exchanges or anything else that you want. They also give you a free FFA page that people can place their links on.

2.) Amazon.com has many books and products to choose from. You can feature just one product, create an entire store, or put a banner featuring books on your website. This is the second most popular affiliate program for webmasters. Click on the ad below to check it out.

3.) Linkshare is used by many companies on the internet to host their affiliate programs. You might as well join this now because you will just have to join it later. You won't be able to participate in some affiliate programs unless you are a member. Click on the ad below to check it out.

4.) Commission Junction is another program like Linkshare. Again, join it now because you will just have to join it later. Many affiliate programs are hosted on this.

5.) Companies that offer web hosting, such as Hostmonster, etc. These companies pay an average commission of $65 per referral. You can look at the web hosting page on this website for some of these companies.
